Where is The W?

The W itself is located in the loft, 2nd floor. You can either park in front
of the building and enter on Main
street or we have a parking lot behind the
building with and entrance as well.
Do I have to buy a ticket every time I come to The W?
No, in fact the only time tickets are required at The W are during our
national concerts and comedy shows. Even before and after these shows which end
around 9:00, no ticket is required. The W is open for dinner, appetizers
or just drinks during the regular hours listed below.
I heard The W was $45 minimum to get in?
Not exactly sure where this came from but as stated above you can come to
The W for free during regular business hours. We have items on our menu
starting at $4. Every Friday night we even have a family style fried
chicken dinner for $14.95 for adults and $7.95 for kids.
What are The Hours?
We are open Every Friday and Saturday as well as every Third Thursday. 5:00
P.M. - 2:00 A.M.

What Kind of Music Do You Play at The W?
First and foremost we believe above all else, "live" music is the best kind
of music. Although it isn't possible to always have live music, we strive to
have live music the majority of the hours we are open.
We specialize in bringing in hard to get entertainers from around the
country to perform in our state of the art venue built specifically for this
purpose. The W features national, regional and local music of every musical
genre with an emphasis on country, blues and rock music. Once per month we
bring in national artists and bands to play The W. Past and/or upcoming
performers at The W include Billy Dean, Richie McDonald, John Berry, Jamie
O'Neal, Bryan White, Doug Stone, Ty Herndon, Rick Trevino and many others. We
also feature a world class comedy series where a national comedian such as Bob
Nelson, John Deboer and others.
Although we try to encourage the artists we bring in to perform acoustically
‘in the round' or in a 'songwriters' format to promote the up close and
personal environment, we are just as comfortable and perfectly suited to
provide an incredible atmosphere for a full rockin' band.
Is it true you have over 70 bottles of wine on your wine list?
Yes, in fact our dream wine list contains over 100 different wines by the
bottle from around the world, making our wine list, as far as we know, the
largest available in Hutchinson. If you do know of another place with more
wines please let us know so we can add a few more.
Do you have just regular old beer?
Oh yes, sorry beer drinkers, you were probably thinking in your head,
"another place I am going to get dragged into and miss the football game and
have to sip on wine that I think tastes like licking a tree". Well good news
beer drinkers, we not only have beer, we probably have just what you want. We
have everything from our $2.50 Miller Light Longnecks everyday, a nice cold
micro-brew draft, all the way to even a bottle of Chimay, we got you covered!
What is the Dress Code at The W and What Kind of People Come to The
W?
Dress Code? Come as you are, no matter who you are, everyone is welcome at
The W and we will work hard to make you feel that way when you spend time with
us here!
Can I book The W for a private event and does The W do catering at
other locations.
Yes and Yes, give us a call at 620-665-TheW and we would be more than happy
to discuss this with you. In most cases, there is no charge to use The W
for private events if we are providing food and drinks.
